Copilot is strictly scoped to one tenant at a time — that's how Microsoft designed it. It cannot answer 'show me users without MFA across all my client tenants.' Multenant is multi-tenant from the ground up, with GDAP-aware queries that span every client an MSP manages.
Lighthouse is free for CSP partners and we recommend MSPs use it for the basics. But it has no chat interface, no branded PDF reports, weak alerting, and weak license cost reporting. Multenant fills those specific gaps and adds an AI conversation layer on top.
No. Everything happens via Microsoft Graph API + GDAP. Nothing installed on your clients' devices. No patches, no software inventory — we deliberately stay out of that space.
EU only. Postgres + Redis + the app server all run in Hetzner Nuremberg. R2 backups also in EU. No data ever leaves the EU. This matters for NIS2 buyers.
You can export everything (audit logs, configurations, branded report templates) via a one-click GDPR data-portability endpoint. After 30 days post-cancellation, data is wiped.
Yes. The OWNER can invite teammates by email. Invitees join the same workspace with ADMIN or TECHNICIAN role. The invite is matched by email on signup.
GDAP-first. Connect your Microsoft Partner Center once, and Multenant auto-discovers every client tenant you have a GDAP relationship with. You pick which ones to enable. Per-tenant OAuth is available as a fallback for non-CSP MSPs.
